Synopsis:

Two Chinese Canadian artists grew up with internalized self-censorship, carrying intergenerational trauma from family life to the street, to the encampment site, and to library spaces. No One is Coming looks back at three years of fragments in Canada: familiar patterns of oppression that they recognize. Their response is small acts: making art, witnessing, documenting, and being there.

This film is an invitation: to those who have been feeling it too, to those who brought their small resistances with them, and to those who have not yet found company.
